      As I was reviewing the data that I imported and one of the fields (Tenant) was displayed as ATT rather than AT&T (the tele communication giant).

      Just curious as to the interpretation of other characters and how we should deal with them.

      Are you using Insert/Update window. This is a known bug and will be fixed in SQLyog 3.6. The data is correctly stored in MySQL. SQLyog interprets '&' incorrectly.

      ResultWindow will show you the correct data.
