Just updated to 12.1.2 (from 12.1.1)
SQLYog is now very unresponsive, takes a long time “Rebuilding Tag Files” after queries run, took 45 seconds to close with no db connections open.
Anyone else experienced this issue?
Any thoughts on where to troubleshoot?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I experienced the same kind of issuse and I have to admit, I’m really disappointed by the whole software slowness…
I have 2 full licenses on 2 different computers (11 & 12). One day I run a query and it works, the day after it crashes creating a dump file when I try to copy all rows in my clipboard
In a specific query that I use for month, I added one more column to get additional information and it crashes, I removed it and it crashes. I remove almost all sub-queries and guess what… it crashes…
Sometimes, I double click on a cell to see data and when I close the pop up, it’s freezes and does not respond for a minute.
Try to close the software, same thing…
Try to copy data into the clipboard, same thing…
I thought it could be an issue related to my computer but when it happens on 2 different ones with different OS (7 and 8), I start thinking SQLyog has serious issues…
I’m really thinking about finding another software that won’t waste my time for basic operations. Just today I lost a day trying to add this column to my query and found no solution…

Hi,
An update on this issue.
This morning I can run all my reports without problem. What did I change since yesterday? Nothing…
That’s why it can be a little bit irritating using this software

Was Windows restarted in between?

Also such reports without exact version information is really not usable at all. Actually if your SQyog versions are not 12.12 please upgrade. There were some issues in early 12.0 versions caused by introduction of the ‘session restore’ feature.
