Did you consider SJA for windows?
You are welcome to play with this, but don't expect Webyog to support!
SJA for Linux is compiled on and for LINUX and no other *nix.
Most likely it could be compiled on and for OS-X, BSD's, cygwin etc. but no plans of going into this at the moment.

Why do you want to run under Cygwin?
SJA is a native windows application bundled with SQLyog Enterprise.

I think he tries to run SJA for Linux on cygwin on windows. As the SJA-for-Linux binary is compiled for Linux and only that it will not run on other *nix – not cygwin either.
Quote:Why do you want to run under Cygwin?Well .. let me guess .. if it worked he would not need to pay for SQLyog Enterprise to run the SJA on windows 😀

@TomBez: If pricing is a problem, then I can offer you only SJA for USD 19.

Hi,
no it's not really a monetary problem, any company who “needs” SAP can afford
buying the Enterprise version ;).
It's just, that I tried it out, if it works, some kind of a research, cause Database's
might change here in the near future (some guys already noticed that lotus domino
isn't that nice, when you try to make OLAP or you if you want to communicate
directly and not with files, with other systems). So I started to build up some
sql-servers based on MySQL or/and Oracle (just to show the notes-herd the benefits
of sql-databases and to show them that there are expensive and cheap version,
with pro's and con's) to give me and others a little playground. F.e. to make better
loganalyzes of the website etc.
