Show Databases Not Working

      Hi,

      I was running SQLYog without problem for months, but today, when I logged in, none of my databases were showing. I am connecting from a Windows machine to a remote server.

      The history window shows the 'Show Databases' command being issued and repeated.

      The server admin has said that the db server is running fine, and that there shouldn't be a problem.

      What's the next step? Are there additional tests I can run to hone in on the problem?

      Try issuing the “SHOW DATABASES” command manually from SQLyog SQL-pane, and some webbased client like phpMyAdmin. Does that return something?

      “My sysadmin says ….” hmmm. They always try to reject the idea that they have a problem in the first place. 🙁
