      Folks,

      Is it possible to do a secure login to mysql 3.23 database?

      Normally, I'm assumoing Sylog passes the login/password plain text?

      Would it be possible to use ssh to secure the channel?

      Yes.

      Many people use SSH tunneling to connect securely.
