Hi all,
Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I consider this a bug. SQLyog tries to restore the last active session which is a nice feature. However, if the connection has become physically unavailable, it takes ages before SQLyog runs into a time out and finally opens the GUI. There is no way to cancel the restore process, I strongly encourage to place a “cancel” button on the restore session window as there seems to be no way of launching SQLyog in a timely fashion when a connection is not available any more. I know that the restore session feature can be disabled, but that requires to get into the GUI first.
The same issue applies when clicking the “Test” button in the Connect to MySQL window and there is no reply from the server.
