      This is just a suggestion especially for the Database Sync wizard and other wizards that potentially take a long time.

      A progress bar or even just some type of animation to indicate that work is still in progress and sqlyog did not lock up would be of immense help!

      this is INDED planned for 5.2.

      You will find a similar recent discussion if you search the Forums.

      If is not possible to display '# of rows' or 'percentages', because that is not how the tool works. But messages like 'comparing PK's','retrieving cheksums', 'marking x rows for update' and the like is possible …
