Hi,
My Norton AV has just scanned my system and has reported SQLYog.exe, SQLYogEnt.exe and uninst.exe (uninstall program for SQLYog) as Adware threats. Has Norton gone Ga-ga or is this correct?

Norton AV 2004. The virus DB updated last night and the scan took place this morning. SQLYog Enterprise ver. 4.0. Apart from this little glitch I have no complaints, lovely piece of software.

Did you try SQLyog 4.03?
We had fixed an issue similar to yours in v4.0. In that case, McAfee was finding SQLyog as a threat due to a perticular compiler option we were using.

Ok, I'll download it and give NAV another go, BRB.

Guess we got to purchase NAV 2004 to test in our development environment. Will keep you updated.

Hi Ritesh,
Just scanned the 4.04 install program with NAV 2004. It's all clear. I've installed 4.04 as well, but wont run a system scan until this evening (can't during the day, NAV kills my machine while I'm working). I'll get back to you if anything comes up (which I doubt). Thanks for the prompt resolution to this. My boss gets kinda twitchy when NAV reports problems. I'm surprised I wasn't forced to unplug my PC from the network and go and stand in the corner like a naughty boy…hehehe .
Cheers,
Mark.
P.S. Was the “Comments” category the right part of the forum to post my original message?

We have resolved this issue in 4.04.
I guess the issue was related to the NullSoft (NSIS) installer which we use for creating the SQLyog install package.
Just downloaded the latest NSIS installer, re-packaged SQLyog, at it works!
