      first of all, congratulation to this great product.

      I'm using blob fields to store pictures directly in the db. The binary data is base64 encoded.

      If pictures are saved as 'raw' binary data, the current blob support shows a picture

      by double clicking on the “value”.

      My suggestion is now, to add radiobuttons to switch between 'raw' and 'base64' decoding.

      I don't know how many of you all use base64, but is quite handy despite the size.
