MemberYes. I re-installed 4.06 over 4.07 and it works fine.

ParticipantNo problem here on XP SP2 (Danish)
I believe it is a 2K – issue. The various ServicePack-levels with win-2K is a mess!
What is your SP-level and localization ?
An “ordinary” 2K or 2K-server ?
Did you try the 4.07 BETA and RC-releases ?

ParticipantI have no chance to go deeper into this (don't have a 2K).
And probably they have left office in Bangalore now ( they have to feed the tigers! 😀 ).
But undoubtedly they will look into it tomorrow (saturday is working day for them!)

MemberWe have tested it on Win2K and Win98 without any problem. I will ask my team to look into it again.

MemberI found problem. Please check the URL below, this is being caused when the
“pcAnywhere host service” is running on the same computer.
As I just downloaded new Earth from Google, which caused the same exact error, and I found this through google. Once I cancel the Host service of PC Anywhere. verion 4.07 runs ok.
Thanks.

ParticipantGood evening Mr. Sherlock Holmes 😎
If you need a Remote Desktop -program you could check Qnext http://www.qnext.com.
It's has never conflicted with anything on my machine (it is java-based – runs in “sandbox”).
But of course that is on WinXP …
But since 4.06 works with PC Aanywhere, they should be able to make 4.07 do it too, I think!

MemberWell, after I updated DirectX to 9.0c, with “Pc Anywhere” host running, both programs runs fine without problem. I do not know what changed in 4.07 which was not in 4.06, but I am happy it is working.
