      I need to use /tmp/mysql.sock instead of /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock. Is there any way to do this in the xml supplied to sja?

      In addition, why do I need to supply an xml file to sja in the first place?

      I am using Red Hat Enterprise 3 (well, 3 is the closest to what SGI sold us).

      The XML file contains all the input details for the sync session. Check http://webyog.com/sqlyog/sja.html for more details.
