Mon Does Not Start – Entry"freeaddrinfo" Not Found In Ws2_32

When starting MONYog.exe, it complains about 'entry”freeaddrinfo” not found in WS2_32.dll' and exits. Is this for XP or Vista only ? I still have Win2000.

We know this issue. If fails to install in Win2K.

Currently we are testing with Win2K.

We will get back after solving this.

I have seen this same issue with W2K since version Beta 0.18. I am still using version Beta 0.16, filename MONyog016.exe, which was the last version to work properly with W2K. If you cannot find this file, try downloading it here:

http://home.earthlink.net/~networkscompany/MONyog016.exe

I hope someone is able to get the newer versions working with W2K. Good Luck!

Thanks for this observation and reporting.

We are still working on this issue and found where the problem is.

We will get back very soon after solving this issue.

Last night we released MONyog 1.0 Release Candidate 1.

And this time MONyog is compatible with Windows 2000.

With some other improvemets.
