Long views not rendering

As you know, some view definitions that are really long/complex, will not render in sqlyog when F6 Alter View is selected. In order to see the view definition in the query window, you have to hit F12 on the view.

Then, sqlyog formats the view….and it is very elongated and hard to read.

Why does this happen?
Is there a way to modify how F12 works to get a more readable view definition?
Or can the arbitrary size limitation of the view be modified so F12 doesn’t have to be used at all?
