      Hi guys,

      I'm a web designer for a local computer retailer in Ottawa, Canada.

      I've recently been wanting to use SQLyog in order to backup their MySQL database, however their DB username is 18 characters long and SQLyog cuts off the last 3 characters when trying to login and thus, I get an access denied error.

      Is this a known bug? Unfortunately, I talked to their hosting provider and they refused to change the MySQL user or even add a new one, which is ridiculous, so I was hoping there was something I could do from this end.

      Are you able to connect from MySQL command line tool?

      MySQL docs says that you can have username of maximum 16 characters.
