      Hi

      Am trying enterprise version. Want to set up a migration job. Used Migtration Toolkit and have imported table from another db. But the job does not appear in the job manager, therfore canot easily execute the job. How can I get this thing into the job manager so that one button starts the import job

      Only jobs that have been scheduled with the Windows Scheduler display in the 'Job Manager'.

      It simply gets its input from Windows Scheduler and 'filters out' from here sja-instances.

      Did that answer your question?

      But my personal opinion is that that could very well be improved …

      You can open the jobfile from the wizard, step through the wizard and eexecute.

      Thanks, I'll check the articles out.

      The windows scheduler does not work for me. The job runs but records are not transferred.

      I think we should try to get deeper into that Scheduler issue now.

      Do you have any ideas?

      I noticed recently at bugs.mysql.com that they have a pending issue with scheduled backups from 'MySQL Administrator'. Changing the LETTERCASE of one of the parameters did the trick.

      Please confirm:

      I understand that

      1) you add the job to the Windows Scheduler

      2) from the Scheduler you can successfully 'execute now'

      3) but a scheduled job does nothing – though Scheduler reports that it was run.

      Is that correct ?
