Hi
Many of these have probably already been said before – I tried searching but couldnt find them:
1. Table Data – ability to page through the data with a Next / Previous and a menu to select the page number – very similar to how PHPMyAdmin (PMA) does it. Changing the limit code is not good enough.
2. When importing data and errors occur – viewing the errors in the little popup box is useless. I cannot resize this box – scroll horizontally to read the full message in many cases.
3. I want the ability to save the look of the SQL yog GUI on exit – i.e. I dont want the Query window to alwats be there – I close it on each load so I can view more of the data window. What would be nice if the data window and query window were both in tabs at the top so I could flick between those two.
4. I dont seem to have any way of changing the actual database / table collation, alter tables does not have this within the popup.
5. Updated to the beta version, when doing a scheduled backup – it now asks me for emails details all the time, I dont want to bloody EMAIL – there should a flag to say do you want to email if so enter details!! Also on the same topic when I am creating a backup from an already created XML file – cant there just be a FINISH button as all the details are the same – i have to push next next next next … to get to where I want, these details will not chnage thats why I saved them! Ahh bollox it deosnt save my Email settings when I want to do a quick backup – this has ruined my whole setup on this!
When I go to run immediatley – it fails – check logs and
Log
Invalid at the top level of the document. Error processing resource 'file:///D:/02. Mysql Backup/217.158.161.212/Japan Toda…
Session Log
following tags were not closed: sjasession, errors. Error processing resource 'file:///D:/02. Mysql Backup/217.158.161….
I think after Run immediately it used to allow me to save the XML file it doesnt do that anymore – you have ruined what was a simple and powerful element by adding complexity without the ability for use choice – a big step backwards.
6. Doing a rather large Export Database as SQL statements, a little into It i get a fatal crash and the whole appy closes instantly. Not good seeing as you killed the way I was doing it before above.
7. The payment process for buying SQLyog is ridiculous – I have bought two Enterprise editions now for my company and both times had to send reminders to you to send me the download links – I pay via Paypal – this should be automatic, not a manual validation. Talk to me if you want your shop properly coded to do this 🙂
>> Resolved — not SQlYog issue ?? – Download Page
Thats it for now will edit when I find more issues. I am really enjoying the product but still find I have to go to PMA to do certain things. I also realise this is a BETA but it did state a very stable one on the download so I assume this are almost 100% complete features.

In teh first round a quick comment on 5)
We cannot help it! Those systems are controlled by the paymanet processor (RegSoft). It is true that the systems that handle PayPal have been problematic in periods.
You can always go here:
http://webyog.com/en/download_latest_sqlyog.php
We DO NOT WANT to administer payment systems ourselves!
But we are in the process of setting up a true 'customer portal'.

Peter
Thanks for that reply I have just Updated my list above – new number 5 is now about the backup schedule – used this a lot and the new Beta has killed the system I had.
Appreciate comments on the rest also as I need to know where this tool is going before I use it company wide.
