      I'm lost! Trying to figureout if I'm connected or not. I downloaded the ent edition which i will purchase if i can figure the darn thing out. Anyway, I cannot thell if I am connected or not. Do you have a tutorial that will walk me through creating a db etc so I can get the hang of what to do? I am new to my SQL

      There is a help file included with the program. Menu item “help”. Start with “Getting started” 🙂

      When SQLyog starts the “Connection Manager” pops up. You enter the connectios details here, and press “Connect” (you may also “Test Connection”). You can open more connections from file..connect. For each connection a window opens in SQLyog . So I cant understand why you cannot tell if you are connected! If the windows opens, you are!

      Well .. again try the help file! To create a DB you can right-click in Object Browser Area or choose “menu .. create DB”
