      Sorry for the n00bieness, I tried to look for my answer but didn't see…

      I'm a SQL n00b and looking to create a SQL DB from scratch on a hosted site. Will this program work on hosted sites or do they all have to be local?

      I use sqlyog with PowWeb hosting just fine.

      Hello

      If your host allows you to connect remotely then SQLyog will be the best option for you as we have optimized SQLyog to work best on remote connection
