I'm not much for posting notes, but I downloaded SQLyog and installed it and I thinks it's fantastic so far.
I have a remotely located server with a bunch of MySQL databases (that I use with various PHP-based sites). When I realized that I could install SQLyog on my local PC and manage the MySQL databases on my remote server, it seemed just like what I was looking for. It installed very quickly with virtually zero effort on my part and connecting with the remote databases was very easy also. The features are more than adequate for what I need and seem to FAR exceed my capabilities.
The program seems very intuitive, which is good because if I have a concern, it would be about the documentation, which is not as detailed as I (at least) might like, but, as I say, I have had no trouble so far, so that's not been an issue.
I will be registering as the product seems outstanding for my needs. Thanks!
