      hi,

tried SQLyog the first time, great tool!!!

      My environment:

      windows xp, sp2

      mysql 4.1.10

table encoding utf8, table typ innodb

When I open a table with german umlauts, then these characters are not displayed right. Is there a possibility/option to correct this? Feature or error?

Are you planning to do a german version?

      tia

Tools -> Preferences and select the correct font for SQL Editor and Data Display.

      Does it help?

      Ritesh,

sorry, nope it does not help… When I use e.g. Toad for MySQL (with courier 12pt too), then the umlauts are right with sqlyog still not…

In the font screen there is an entry “Script”. In SQLyog there is only one entry “Westlich”. With the tool above, in the equivalent input there are lots of options and it stands on “latin”. Perhaps that's the reason why it works in toad without problems?

      bye

Could it be that you have more versions (old and new) versions of the fonts installed ?

      hello,

maybe…;-) Installed several programs during the last few years, so if there were several fonts included…

But my “reference” program toad was installed only 2 days ago…

      regards
