      it seems that the find/replace function in the sql edit doesn't work in 3.51 at all.

      I use w2k.

      It works for me. Do you take both the current cursor position and the search direction into account?

      Using 3.51 (trial), Win2k, en_US

      I can confirm the bug. The problem exists for both 'Find' and 'Find and Replace'. The dialog gives focus back to the parent window as soon it receives it. This ensures that you cannot type anything into the dialog, or use the buttons. The only way to close the dialog is to use the window's close box.

      Still works as expected for me! The dialog retains focus and finds/replaces the text I enter.

      I find the same effect as lmch and mhsa: focus continually reverts to parent. Windows 2000. SQLyog v3.51 (trial version).
