Thank you, Webyogis, for the great update to SQLyog. The Form view is a much needed and appreciated feature. Form view is not only useful for data entry/editing, but also for easily viewing a single record's content when a table simply can't show as much as it needed.

The one thing that I would _greatly_ appreciate is adding a keyboard shortcut to toggle between Grid and Form view. Honestly, I appreciate but rarely use the toggle between grid and text views (Ctrl-L). So I appreciate that you now toggle between the current Grid/Form view and text.

However, what would be more useful to me would be a Preferences selection to allow an 'include/exclude' checkbox setting where Ctrl-L would _cycle_ through the selected views; Grid, Form, Text. This way, I could un-check Text and Ctrl-L would toggle between Grid and Form view. If I left all three checked, I would pass through Text view on my way 'back' to whatever view I came from to switch to one of the alternates.

Thanks for considering this… and, as usual, keep up the good (and much-appreciated) work.

Thanks for using SQLyog and for your valuable suggestion. We will discuss this and consider implementing a keyboard shortcut for switching between the views. We will update shortly on this.

      Regards

      Hi,

We have released SQLyog 8.8 GA. In this, we have added CTRL+ALT+L keyboard shortcut for switching GRID and FORM mode.
