      It would be great if there could be a quick filter for a certain column in the TableData and Result Tab.

      For example I press F11 to see the table data. Now I right-click on the title of the column 'nickname' and select 'QuickFilter' from the popup menu. Then I define e.g. pumix and the whole table will be quickly filtered with …WHERE nickname='pumix'.

      With this quick filter it is not necessary to always write the whole SQL query on top.

      This feature is already in the TO-DO list of SQLyog.

      it is in the TODO, I know. Things like that, GUI query generator etc.

      You could try the OpenOffice suite Beta2 http://www.openoffice.org. It can connect to Mysql with ODBC or JDBC. It has exactly this facility.
