      Hi. At the company where i work, we use SQLyog Enterprise 6.05 and now we buy 8.1

      Is there a way to export all my connections and avoid to recapturewhen installed the new version ? If is not possible via SQLyog app, maybe some script or registry hack ?

      Hi Sunco,

      SQLyog.ini file stores all the connection settings. It is present in 'AppData' folder.

      Exact file file path is:

      For Windows 2K/XP/2003:

      C:documents and settingsuserapplication dataSQLyogsqlyog.ini

      For Windows Vista/2008/Win7:

      C:UsersuserAppDataRoamingSQLyogsqlyog.ini

      Please note that the 'AppData' folder is a hidden folder. You need to unhide it from Control Panel .. folder options.

      You need to copy/backup this SQLyog.ini file and paste in AppData folder (same path) of the system where you are going to install new SQLyog.

      Thanks, i do that yesterday (using ProcessMonitor) but have no time to post until now. Thanks anyway 🙂
