      Pretty much the error message says it all. Whatever server you entered, it can't find. This is the MySQL libraries returning this error to SQLyog which is simply reporting it to you. (in other words, this is a MySQL error, check the MySQL manual for details)

      Thanks for your message. here i am using the database which is provided by my ISP. If i want to connect to that database i am entering the host name as my company hostname for database. in that way i got the Error message . can you help how can i connect to the database with this software.

      SQLyog cannot find an instance of mysql server running at the host you hvae entered.

      Contact your ISP and make sure you have the name correct. Make sure you have the port number correct.
