      Error No. 1130 Host '192.168.1.23' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server

      I get this error message. what is happen to connect to mysql 5.0.2 alpha ?

      I install syslog (free edition) on my workstation. My workstation is just winxp without

      any mysql/php installed. I an trying to connect to another linux machine with

      mysql 5.0.2 alpha installed.

      What else software I need to install in order to connect from workstation to linux machine?

      You dont have the correct permission to connect to your MySQL server. You have to use either SSH or HTTP Tunneling to work with your MySQL server.

      For more information press F1 in the connection window.
