      I get this error saying FILE privileges required, while trying to backup the database using DB—>Database Backup

      OR

      if I try and use the DB—>Export Database as Batch Scripts option, I get Error 1227: You need the RELOAD privilege for this operation.

      Whats the problem?

      What version of SQLyog are you using?

      Also, if you would :

      Try it again

      Then look at the history window and execute the commands one at a time.

      Then post here with the command that is throwing the error.

      FWIW, I'm experiencing a similar issue.
