      When I tried to use my SQLyog 4.06 to modify data in MySQL tables, I got an error message:

      Error No. 1205

      Lock wait timeout exceeded; try restarting transaction

      MySQL is running on a Red Hat 9 Linux machine, and my SQLyog is accessing it via a Windows 2000 machine.

      All suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

      This is an issue with your MySQL settings rather then SQLyog.
