      I have been using prior versions of SQLyog for some time now an have had no problems dowloading upgrades until now. When attempting to download the free-version of the 5.0-version, the dowload will progress to about 45-49% and then will hang, never completing. I have attempted this download several times over the last week, trying it with both IE and Firefox, both failing with regularity. This is very odd and I have no issues downloading other software. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might complete a successful download? I have tried cleqaring the cache, deleting cookies, checking for ample disk-space, etc.

      Can SQLyog be downloaded via FTP?

      I have no problems. There is no FTP.

      This looks like a server communications problems

      I threw a copy on my personal webiste.

      Is that better ?

      Drop a note when you got it.

      Peter,

      I tried it from your site with literally the same result, i.e. it gets to 48% file completion and hangs. How truly bizarre. There must be something else at work here. I tried the download several times and even disabled the anti-virus protection of the off-chance that it was causing the problem. No luck. I find it odd that a partial file is allowed, i.e. is someone was restricting access to the file, why would it allow the file to be downloaded only to a certain percentage?

      Any one else have any other ideas?

      yeah … its is crazy!

      Is your mailbox big enough for 5 MB ?

      I don't know what the limit is on the mailbox. It might be worth a try, though.

      It is on its way out from here now!

      I zipped the file. It is compressed allready, so it does not become significantly smaller, but it is different!
