Hi,
I like the new tabs but feel kind of foolish because mine aren’t color-coded and I can’t figure out how to make them appear in different colors. Can someone tell me how?
Don't know if this is germane or not, but I'm using SQLyog via Wine on a 64-bit Linux (Ubuntu) platform.
Thanks,
Larry

Hi Larry,
If you want to use the color tabbed feature all you have to do is right click on the Object browser and choose the last option that says 'CHANGE BACKGROUND COLOR'. I have also attached a screen shot to illustrate the same.
Please note that this feature is available only from SQLyog version 8.5 onwards.

Hi Aparna,
aarrgghh!! 🙂 I figured since the tabs were color-coded that right-clicking on them would show this option. It never occurred to me to right-click on the root of the object browser.
Thanks for replying, Aparna!
(And thanks to the SQLyog folks for a great product!)

Hi Larry,
You can also define the color for connection while creating or connecting to that connection. This can be done through selecting a color in Advanced Tab of connection dialog. (See the screenshot)
