I'm just curious about the use of the database synchronization tool. It seems to me that it compares 2 databases, and creates an SQL file based on the 2. Then you would presumeably drop the databases, “Execute a batch file” based on them?
Or does it automagically sync all the data somehow (that I don't see)
The Database Synchronization Tool ( DST ) generates SQL statements, to bring the strtucture of table(s) for a database ( i.e. columns, indexes etc. ) completely in sync with another.
Data Sync is not supported as of now but it is in the TO-DO list of SQLyog Max
