I am able to synch up using the database sync power tool. It works great when immediatly run the process manually.

I have not been able to get the scheduled job to run. even if I go to scheduled tasks and run the job nothing happpens.

I am trying to keep a database outside of a firewall synched up with one behind the firewall. Linked servers would have been great to use.

Am doing something wrong with the PowerTool of is their another issue? thanks

The job now runs as scheduled but the data on the target server is not being updated. The data on the target server was updated when I ran the “PowerTools Database Synch Wizard” manually the first time.

I am at a loss for why this is not working, I do not see any error messages or any clues to the issue

      tks

“The job now runs as scheduled but the data on the target server is not being updated.”

      Try

      1) commandline: sja

      2) 'execute now' from windows scheduler

what works and what does not?

Did you ever read this on DATA SYNC:

please understand how the tool uses a PK.

Do your tables have a PK?
