      Hi –

      A colleague and I are both running SQL Ultimate 8.2. We use SQLyog to do an hourly data sync. Do we both need to have the same version of SqlYog software running for the data sync to work? Or can I upgrade even if he doesn't? In case it matters, I send the data to him, and I never receive data from him.

      I am running: SQL Ultimate 8.2 on Win2008 R2 with Mysql 5.1.44.

      He is running: SQL Ultimate 8.2 on either Win2008 or Win2003, and he is running MySQL 5.1.x

      Update: I see now that this probably should have gone under the sync tools section, but can't see how to move it, so please feel free to move it if necessary and please accept my apologies for any inconvenience.

      Not necessary. But it would be better if you could use the latest version if in case any bug fix, enhancement related to Data sync is included.
