I've just purchased SQLyob Enterprise. I was able to connect to a remote mySQL 5.x (hosted by Ipowerweb.com) using HTTP Tunneling.

In order to connect to this remote mySQL database from a .NET application, how can I make use of HTTP Tunneling feature?

In fact, this is the main reason why I purchased this product.

      Thanks in advance.

The SQLyog HTTP-tunneller is only functional with SQLyog and SJA ('SQLyog Job Agent'). It cannot be used as a 'generic proxy' by other applications.

However the Tunnelling technology of SQLyog would allow for that as well. We plan to release this feature as a seperate application in some months.

Well, too bad I have to wait! I always had the feeling that things are not that easy 🙂

In the meantime, any suggestion regarding connection string or ODBC? Even a 3rd party util out there?

      Thanks a bunch!

Do you have the option to connect with SSH?
