      Hi,

      How do you obtain your mySQL host info if your going thru a third party hosting company?

      I have been trying to log on withSOLyog and keep getting unknown server SQL host error 2005

      Please Help 😕

      Contact your ISP. They should be able to give you the 3 things you need.

      1: machine name or ip address

      2: login

      3: password

      Optional 4th piece, the database you are allowed to use. (Not necessary if you are allowed to see all the databases.

      Hi,

      Thanks for the response. I have a quick question, is it possible to get that info from the ISP control panel? When I Log on and go to mySQL I see some connection string information there. I tried the string there but still could not connect.
