      Maybe I'm missing something but wouldn't be good to have a my.cnf configuration advisor? Something that puts together all the recomendations in an easy to use place? As in copy and paste?

      There is no absolute truth about configuration. A human will have to make decisions. There are 'trade-off's' and it depends of lots of things

      If it was so simple the MySQL server itself would have 'self-configuring' since 5 years.
