After a brief glance at the v3.6 RC, I noticed the following items:
1. The column headings are truncated to be no larger than the widest record by default. This did not occur in previous versions and seems rather odd. The column, at a minimum, should be as wide as the column's name. Case in point: I have a CORRESPONDENT_ID column that has under 1000 records. When I run my query, the column heading is “C…” instead or “CORRESPONDENT_ID”.
2. The execute query buttons seem out of place. The buttons are in the upper-left-hand corner, but the query portion of the editor is on the right.
3. In long text columns, the search results will display the following:
I have a record that is very long and has a lot of text, yet it [BLOB DblClk To View]
It seems odd that you'd see the [BLOB] comment amongst the record's text. The ellipses that displayed in place of [BLOB DblClk To View] in the previous version felt “cleaner”, if that makes any sense.
Other than that, everything looks good. I noticed the Word Wrap (thank you!) and I trust that other bug I reported has been fixed. I'll test it out tomorrow.
Keep up the good work guys! You have a great product on your hands!

The bug that I mentioned above and detailed here:
http://www.webyog.com/forums/index.php?act…ct=ST&f=6&t=551
has not been fixed. This was the main reason I purchased a license. I wanted to ensure that this particular defect would be addressed. Granted, this is not the final product, but I wanted to make you aware that you still have a problem with this one.

Then you have another bug on your hands. Let me walk you through what I saw this morning:
1. Build a table with 7 columns. Two columns are ints and the remaining 5 columns are long text.
2. Enter values into each of the 7 columns in Insert/Update mode
3. Click the one of the int columns in the new record/blank row directly below it
4. Immediately following that, click one of the long text columns and update it.
5. Click the new record/blank row directly below it
You should see that the other 4 long text columns are blank. The one that was updated still has a value in it. Again, if you need me to send you video of this occuring, I can do so.

Can you mail me a video recording of the BLOB column bug?

Ritesh…I have sent the movie file. Its 760kb and stored in a Flash (.swf) file. It details the problem perfectly.

Ritesh..
This is odd. My email bounced back with the following msg:
Your message was not delivered because the destination computer refused
to accept it (the error message is reproduced below). This type of error
is usually due to a mis-configured account or mail delivery system on the
destination computer; however, it could be caused by your message since
some mail systems refuse messages with invalid header information, or if
they are too large.
Your message was rejected by inbound.registeredsite.com for the following reason:
5.7.1 This mail message is infected by I-Worm.Swen
I ran a full virus scan and I don't have this (or any) virus. Regardless, since it appears email is not an option at this time, I have uploaded the file to the following location:
http://www.askthecommish.com/webyog/webyog.zip
Please let me know when you've downloaded the file so I can remove it. Thanks!

Thanks for the video.
It helped us to fix the bug in 120 secs 🙂
We have released SQLyog 3.6 RC5, that has the above mentioned bug fixed. You can download it at http://www.webyog.com/sqlyog/SQLyog36.exe
