I have 3 MySQL databases on my site.

      Master

      Backup (replication of Master)

TimeLapse Backup (replication of Backup, but time-lapsed 4 hours)

Every once in a while I need to access either of the Backup servers, and check some stuff out or actually make a change or two. It would be nice if based on the connection profile you could color SQLyog, or provide some sort of visual queue that as to what server I'm on?

I have one program that does this, I have it one color for my every day use and one color for my development use. I can easily tell where I'm at by the color of the program.

      Just an idea.

Not a new request. Refer to http://code.google.com/p/sqlyog/issues/detail?id=429 where I also added this post.

You can check all isues registered in http://code.google.com/p/sqlyog/issues/list . It is a matter of priority. We think that there are more important issues pending (even though the current SQLyog interface/desing/GUI is still Windows 3.x/95 like).

Don't beat yourself up too much, some of us like the no-nonsense interface.

      Hi,

We have released SQLyog 8.5 Beta1 with “Tabbed Interface for Connections”. Also, the tabs will be colored (if chosen) like the Object Browser.

FYI: From SQLyog 8.3, you can define a ‘color code’ for a connection. The color will be used as background color in the Object Browser.

      Please refer to:

      Thanks & Regards,

      Khushboo
