Hi
I can connect on my WinXP machine with SQLyog Free Version v4.06 to MySQL.
After downloading SQLyog Enterprise v4.06 , I cannot connect to MySQL but the Free Version still works fine.
I use in both versions the same connection Parameters.
The Error I got with Enterprise Version:
Error No.2003
Can't connect to MySQL server on '72.29.14.31' (10061)
MySQL Version: 4.1.10a-nt
Any Idea whats wrong?

This is very strange. I have never heard about an issue like this before.
Are you sure that you are giving the same details in both the versions?
Can I get temporary access to the MySQL server?

Yes I am sure using the same Parameters in both Versions.
You can Test to connect to:
MySQL Host Address: 72.29.14.31
MySQL Database Name: sqlyogtest
MySQL Database UserName: SQLyogTest
MySQL Database Password: 123456
(sorry for delay but had to setup Test-D:cool:

I was able to connect to your server using SQLyog Enterprise. I also took the liberty of creating a test table called tablename1.
@peterlaursen: Can you check the above connection details? -

I can connect too with “MySQL Administrator” and “MySQL Query Browser” and office programs like MS-Access and OpenOffice Base using the “MyODBC connector”.
Are you sure it's not only a problem with the letter-case in some connection variable ?

Yes, I am sure using NO TUNNELING!
Is it mybe I habe the Free and the Enterprise Version on my Maschine?
Or mybe I have a Problem with my Serial Key:
How can I reinstall the Serial Key?
Do I have to edit the Registry from WinXP?

Are you a registered user?
You can use FREE and Enterprise version side-by-side without any problem.
Can you mail me sqlyog.ini found in the installation directory of SQLyog Enterprise?

Just got a reply from the customer. He was not able to connect from his machine because Zone-Alarm was blocking SQLyog Enterprise.

Yes …
SOMETIMES 😉 I remember to write that connection problems can be a firewall issue!
