Can Not Start Nor Save Login Info

      I downloaded the newest SQLyog 6.11 to use with MySQL. I input the information as needed IE

      Host Address; localhost

      Username; root

      Password; as i entered it in in MySQL

      Port; 3306

      Then click connect it asked i wanna save it and i say yes

      then this error message comes up and say

      SQLyog crashed.

      Dump file saved in C:Documents and SettingMikeApplication DataSQLyogSQLyog_dump_01.dmp

      so i uninstalled it thinking i downloaded the wrong one and reinstalled it again to find it doing the same thing. Then looked around to find a version 6.12. i uninstalled the 6.11 and downloaded and installed the 6.12. Guess what it did the samething again.

      Am i missing a step in the download process or something?

      Any help will be greatly appreciated

      1) could you please attach that dump file here?

      2) If you can connect with some other client please execute “SELECT VERSION();”. What does it return?

      (it is important that you do execute this and paste the result exactly as returned!)
