There is some bug: if I edit table data and insert string “default” or “Default”, it'll be gone after pressing refresh. It works though if I write “UPDATE TABLE…”. Weird? We're using MySQL 5.0.22 (afaik) and using SQLyog 5.19.

      Regards,

      Marko

      Hello,

From SQLyog 5.1 MySQL KEYWORDs are given a special treatment by the GUI!

      Read this FAQ: http://webyog.com/faq/8_99_en.html?highlight=\

Has this bug been fixed? I brought it up around v5.14 and was told that the keywords feature would become user-configurable so the GUI's ability to silently destroy data would be mitigated. (if SQLYog encounters an existing 'default' string it will destroy it in the existing record). I see the user configurability has been added but the docs are silent with respect to any new ability to keep SQLYog from performing this behavior, which is catastrophic for users of my CMS.

I'll repeat that it is not a bug, it is a feature! <_< You can turn it off in 'preferences'. (enable/disable 'smart' keywords handling) Please refer to: http://webyog.com/faq/8_99_en.html
