      I created an xml notification to email myself a query result – it works when I'm going through the wizard but not when using the Linux SJA from the terminal (import csv and other query/insert jobs work fine, it's just the emails that fail).

      The exact same job works fine if I use wine to run sja.exe so I have that as a workaround, but it's still annoying…

      hmmm..

      SJA for Linux does not send mail on my SuSE 10.0 either.

      SJA for Windows with Wine does.

      What is your distro?

      I can add that I have mailer-daemon 'postfix' and not 'sendmail' installed.

      .. but switching between the three different ones that I have available makes no difference.

      I'm running Ubuntu Dapper, but I only just made the switch from XP a few days ago so I'm still finding my way around…
