      Hi there,

      I just discovered SQLyog and I am really impressed with the program but I have one question :

      (forgive my ingorance)

      When I try to do a batch backup on a database containing 3 tables I Have the following selected :

      Export :

      Data, Structure

      Options:

      All are left as defaults (only ones NOT checked are : Set FORUM_KEYS_CHECKS =0 and Add Lock around INSERT statements

      All 3 tables are on the right side.

      When I press export, there are no errors.

      When I test the file to import , it doesn't create any tables, and if you look at the backup file (in notepad) the Create table commands are there , but no tables are created and there is also no raw data (for the fields) in the export file either.

      Any ideas why it's not backing up properly ?

      SQLyog's Export As Batch Script… option is used by many and we have never faced any problem.

      Anyway, try UNCHECKING the option Flush Logs Before Dump and export. Make sure that all the table(s) that you want to Export are listed under Select Table(s) list window.

      Are you sure, there is data in the concerned TABLE(s)?

      Hmm.

      Everything checked okay, so I uninstalled / then re-installed and it seems to work fine now.
