      I have successfully created a .sql file utilizing the “Export Data as Batch Scripts” from development server and have also successfully “execute batch file” the resulting script into a ISP hosted production database. (ISP host does not allow remote access to mySQL server) I would like to schedule the above process, but I do not see a way to do so. We need to update the tables on ISP hosted server every night. Could you please help? Thank you in advance.

      Have you tried “Tools->Power Tools->Database Synchronization Wizard…”?

      Yes I have tried using the sync tool, but it takes hours to finish synching (I am using http tunneling). So I suppose there is no scheduling capability for batch file execution utilizing sqlyog? Thank you for your time and any help you can offer!

      Scheduled backup is in the TO-DO list of v4.1.

      Scheduled import of batch file is in the TO-DO list of v4.2.

      Until these versions are complete, you could try MySqlAdministrator from MySql. It's a free MySql server management tool which is capable of executing scheduled backups and restores.
