      I just saw an advertisement in SQLyog.  Seriously??!!

       

      We paid for this product – why do we have to be shown ads?

      The banner you are looking at is used to add value to our existing customers. We wouldn’t categorize this as an ad. We have used this slot in two instances:

       

      1) to announce SQLyog 12.1 release, which was a major update and encourage users to experience the new version and

      2) for thanksgiving for all those who have been waiting for a discount coupon to upgrade. 

       

      We do understand your sentiment and have included a close button which will dismiss banner for you. Be assured that we won’t display anything that isn’t relevant to our users.
