      Other than for backing up, one of my reasons for trying out SQLyog was because I occasionally need to make some small edits to the automatic setup produced by the CMS I use. One of these is editing a field from 'text' to 'mediumtext', as I need more room than the default allows for.

      How would I accomplish this in SQLyog? I can't seem to find the right place for actually editing such things.

      from the table menu or context menu .. ALTER TABLE

      Ahh, okay. Thank you. I am a bit nervous about messing something up, so I hadn't dared try that without knowing what it did. 🙂
