      Hi, I am on 5.2 Beta 1 and I have run into this issue a few times since upgrading.

      This doesn't occur often, maybe has happened 4-5 times since the beta was released…

      Anyway I did notice that it seems to happen when performing an action to the window itself (e.g. ALT-Tab to bring up the window, or double-clicking the title bar to maximize the window). Not entirely sure this is the cause of the problem or just a coincidence…

      there have been some crashes fixed in the BETA tree. In particular between beta1 and beta2. So please upgrade to beta3 and (when available) beta4. It will likely be 2row – thursday.

      Sorry I am trying to help by reporting bugs I find.. no need to be condescending….

      I have also submitted a support ticket regarding why the download page doesn't recognize my registration anymore… THANKS!

      I am sorry but I had no intention of insulting anyone.

      Please inform of you ever experience the same thing with beta 4.

      I think I answered the support ticket (there was only one!).

      Well I was thinking this had stopped happening.. was working fine for the whole time since I upgraded up until just now.

      I got the same problem.. I was altering a table.. I alt-tabbed to another window to look up something, and SQLyog closed spontaneously without warning. I had the application opened for at least 4 hours..

      I'm on SQLyog 5.2 Beta 4, Windows XP SP2.

      This is a very frustrating issue… Sometimes I leave queries sitting in the application to come back to later just to find that the window no longer exists!

      How can I possibly the only person that is experiencing this? Is the open source version having this problem as well?

      I think you are the only person having experienced/reported this! We cannot reproduce.

      Please try 5.2 beta5 when available (tomorrow likely).

      There were some stability issues fixed.

      Unless it is somehow related to 'autocomplete' it should not matter if it is COMMUNITY or ENTERPRISE version.
