I have one problem : when I press “ALTER TABLE…” in field Comment I see something like “Ññûëêà íà òàðèôèêàöèîííóþ çîíó

There is not such problem in SQL Editor and Data Display (I use “cp1251” encoding in my database MySQL 5.0.19) because font for them sets to “Courier New(Cirillic)”.

So, I need thet the programm font support Cirillic character set

I use SQLyog5.15, but I's the equal situation in other versions.

Sorry for my mistakes – I speak english slowly…

You are right. the Font settings are not complete.

There is no font setting available for Comments in CREATE TABLE, ALTER TABLE and for the MESSAGES, HISTORY and OBJECTS TABs.

That will be fixed no later than version 5.2. We are looking into it right now to see if we can do something very soon.

We have been discussing this now!

We want to release 5.16 ASAP – probably in the weekend.

We also plan a 5.17 release (a bug fix/service release) shortly after. This issue will be adressed in 5.17.

      This dialog , too. 🙂

It will be great if font settings are available for “Insert/Update BLOB Field”

Something seems broken! We will look detailed into it tomorow morning.

Font settings (tools .. preferences .. fonts) for data display should work with TEXT and BLOB, but it only has effect when you save!

We plan to introduce font settings for everything in 5.17! See the announcement in the 'News' section.
