SQLyog v. 5.11 Free Edition, Windows

      Tested on Windows 2000/XP/2003

When started the program creates empty file in the root directory of the system drive. The file has a name that look like md5 hash value and the extension .db

When the program is closed the file remains on the drive.

Every time a new file with different name is created.

Confirmed with 5.12 beta 5 FREE edition too.

explanation. The .db files are on the ENTERPRISE version the embedded databases (SQLite database) used by the 'autocomplete' feature. The name is a checksum of connection details. One file is created each time you open a new connection.

The file does not make sense in FREE editon, and should not be in root folder!

If it is necessary to have such an empty file for for each connection with the FREE edition then they should go in a /TAGS folder like with the ENTERPRISE version.

This is strange. We need to create the TAGS file but it should be created in the TAGS folder itself. I will check it out again today.
