      I just updated my favorite FTP client SmartFTP from 1.5 to 2.0.

      See attached. 1.5 above – 2.0 below.

      This new TAB on each client windows is SO NICE.

      Actually the old design resembles SQLyog very much.

      How much would it take to add similar TABs to each SQLyog Connection Window?

      With SmartFTP the option to minimize and 'mediumize' windows has been removed. That is OK with a FTP-client. However I think that that option should be kept with SQLyog – it is practical when comparing similar structures on two servers.

      Keep it in mind once Connection Manager is rewritten!

      Or maybe rather like the way I have configured my Opera browser.

      As of now when lots of connections are open – hidden behind one another – and can be a little tedious t find the one you are after … minimizing until the right one shows up. Here it pops to the foreground with a single mouse-click.

      And/or a drop-down somewhere in the menu where to select.

      Just SOME WAY to find the connection you are after easy!

      What a coincidence 😀

      I had this idea myself last week. Every software e.g. Firefox have

      tab based interface. It makes more sense to move to a tab based layout. I even added this in our TO-DO list for later versions.

      This implementation should take us 1 week maximum.
